Recycling of rechargeable batteries and accumulators
The collection and recycling of small rechargeable batteries (accumulators) became mandatory with the implementation of the Law on the Promotion of Efficient Use of Resources (Revised Recycling Law) on 1 April 2001. See the JBRC website for collection locations and methods.
