The Validator does not just display the validation results. Selecting a low-grade inspection item will display a description of the item and a colour display of which parts of the inspection image are bad. Contrast can also be displayed graphically and even provides points for improvement in relation to the validation results, such as print shading and blurred edges. The results can also be output to a printer or PDF.

Camera-type barcode readers are becoming increasingly popular on the market. Unlike the laser type, which verifies with around ten scan lines, the camera type verifies the entire image with unparalleled accuracy with several hundred scan lines.
