Commitment to quality
On 29 July 2002, the Technical Development/Manufacturing Division of MARS TOHKEN SOLUTION, including the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Technical Centres in Tokyo (Chofu City) and the Suwa Plant in Nagano Prefecture, obtained ISO 9001:2000 (Quality Management System) certification and is committed to continuous improvement of the quality management system at each stage of design and development, purchasing, manufacturing, inspection and ancillary services (e.g. repairs). In June 2008 the company underwent a renewal audit for ISO 9001:2000 certification and in July 2009 a transition audit to ISO 9001:2008.
In addition, the Head Office RFID and Membership Management business units underwent a third party certification to ISO 9001:2008 on 15 February 2010 at Nippon Kagaku Kuei Co. In addition, an expansion, integration and renewal audit was conducted at Nippon Kagaku Kuei K.K. on 15 February 2013, covering all divisions of the company.
In addition to the development and production of mass-produced standard products, MARS TOHKEN SOLUTION also handles customised design products according to the customer’s industry, business category, service and application, and has good footwork development capabilities. Always mindful of the environment, we strive to improve quality through review, verification and validation in accordance with ISO 9001 at every stage of design and development, purchasing, manufacturing and inspection.
In product planning, the sales and engineering departments jointly conduct design reviews and aim to create better products in terms of market needs, performance, design, usability, application and price. In addition, the company has obtained Privacy Mark certification as a company that handles personal information appropriately.

The X-ray work supervisor is one of the work supervisors under the Japanese Occupational Safety and Health Law.
They are appointed by the operator from among those who have been issued an X-ray work supervisor licence (national qualification) by the Director General of the Prefectural Labour Bureau.
The Company encourages development and sales staff in the X-ray Equipment Division (Division 3) to obtain this qualification.

Environmental initiatives
Our planet is currently facing various crises such as ozone depletion, global warming, and air and water pollution. The Suwa Plant in Nagano Prefecture has been actively working to improve these environmental problems since the plant was established, and on 29 July 2002 it received third-party certification for its ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) from Moody International Certification Ltd (now Intertec Certification Ltd). (now Intertec Certification Co., Ltd.) and received certification.
Environmental Policy
We at MARS TOHKEN SOLUTION, Ltd. are committed to understanding the impact of our business activities on the environment through the manufacture of automatic identification equipment and X-ray inspection equipment, and to working to protect the environment and prevent pollution. We aim to develop our business by continuously improving our environmental management system and improving our environmental performance. To this end, we will implement the following three points.
