UHF RFID has made it possible to improve the efficiency and security of the management of important internal documents taken out of the company.
Many have been used in medical practice in the USA. How does it differ from the usual antimicrobial model?Due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, companies using barcode scanners are now using alcohol and disinfectant wipes as a measure to prevent infection. This is particularly important in locations where scanners are shared by several people.Conventional scanners have a high risk of damage to the housing and defects due to repeated wiping and disinfection, and there is a growing demand for barcode scanners that can withstand alcohol and strong disinfectants.
We achieved centralized management of tool and measurement equipment usage history and batch reading using UHF RFID tags. This was implemented in railway and aviation services. Visual inspection of tools and equipment used to be conducted, but it became time-consuming due to a large number of management points. The use of RFID tags for checkout and return management was being considered to prevent tool misplacement and manage maintenance history. We proposed a one-stop solution, from selecting the UHF tag to providing hardware, system development, and installation adjustment support to address the challenges.
UHF-band RFID gates provide real-time information on moving objects, improving the efficiency of various operations and tasks. Examples of operations include vehicle management, raw material arrival management and parts/products movement management. This presentation will include examples of UHF gates in use at various locations, such as vehicle passage management, trolley management, incoming and outgoing garment inspection, and people and trolley passage management at manufacturing sites.
